Well, a lot’s been happening ….. and the Club’s amazing volunteers, the strength of any Club, have been absolutely flat out …..so pls excuse the delayed reporting.

Gender Challenge:
Coming in with a fine 36 pts, Mick Spagnolo was today’s hero for the Men in Round 3 of the Club’s Mid Week Gender Challenge – a fun (but highly competitive!) event that draws our membership together. Vicki Clements was runner up with an excellent 34 Points. Gary Pollard won NTP on the 18th. With this win, the Men have crept up to within 60 points of the Ladies, …. so the Ladies are ordering cooking books for the Men this Christmas! – but, hang on girls there’s lots more games and fun to come yet!
2016 Club Championships
Ladies – Congratulations go to Miranda Gill, the new Ladies A Grade Champion who has finally wrested the title from Laraine Callander after an 18 hole play off last Tuesday. Laraine has been the Ladies Club Champ for the past 10 years – a phenomenal achievement, congratulations Laraine!
Mens – With one round still to play, Rick Wills is in the A Grade Champ box seat while Mick Spagnolo holds a solid, yet surmountable lead in B Grade. The competition in C Grade is pretty hot too. Good luck to all players in the final round this Saturday!
We now take a short break in the Gender Challenge as our Ladies head to Healesville RACV next Wednesday for their annual Christmas Breakup (9 holes and Lunch) then, the following week our Men head to Growling Frog for 18 holes and Christmas Breakup……all before coming back together on Wednesday 14th December for our official Club Chrissy Party!!! Men wishing to attend the Growling frog event must contact Alan Pell asap or risk missing out.
Talk about a packed program??? Try reporting on it!
