Last Saturday saw a great turnout for a highly competetive Stableford Comp Round on a tough course made even tougher by the past month of wet weather.
Russ Wealands had his best round for some time (36pts) to win on countback from Rob O’Halloran. Both benefitted with their handicap slipping out one stoke, much to the ire of the “Birthday boy”, Neil Peterson who came in with 35 pts. Neil won the NTP as consolation prize!
Laraine Callander (34) won the Ladies stableford event. Everyone is reminded that this Sunday is the popular Mary Walker Mixed Canadian event (11.30 for 12 hitoff) so grab your partner, invite some friends and prepare for battle on a freshly cut course. See you on Sunday!
