Gary Pollard fresh from a golf lesson from Michael Waghorn plus out to a handicap of 11, was able to produce 38 points for a win in the men’s competition on Saturday. He is a four stroke leader in the Smith Family trophy after this round, with John Tanner 2nd on 34 points.
15 men played in windy conditions but the course was dry and in very good condition. Kevin Coghlan was NTP on the 14th. Carl Maffei won the Club trophy on CB from Petr Keast.

Gary and a couple of other players played in the morning and as such missed the windy conditions…I think he should be penalised 4 points for playing in the morning…I think all the afternoon players would agree
Make it 5 Ivor, hope you sell your clubs
Lets take it one step further… the morning players need to play again in the morning for round two… the winner of the morning group then plays the winner of the afternoon group, who have played the two rounds in the afternoon.
