Eleven men teed off in the early hours of Wednesday. Fog hampered sighting the ball on the first couple of holes before the sunshine appeared. Alan Pell (10) had 33 points to win from Bob Glenister(8) second with 32 points on CB from Jeff Aurisch(17) also on 32. Ray Partridge won the Club Award on CB as well. Quote of the day: “I’d rather have a birdie than sex”.
