In the first round of mixed stableford for the summer last Wednesday a field of 28 saw young Jobe Dunne(18) continue his excellent form with 40 points to edge out Peter Johnston(16) second with 39 points. Third also with 39 on CB was Mic Sheather from Mic Spagnolo fourth with Zach Pell(14) fifth with 37. NTP on the 18th was Luke Gregory and Brendan “Trout” Chenhall took out the Club Award.
Saturday saw another great field of 29 in mixed stableford with Peter Johnston(15) continuing to impress with 39 points to win from Cindy Armstrong(29) 37, Alan Pell(13) 36 on CB from Gareth Antrobus(36) 36 and Judi Newman(37) 34 on CB fifth from Jim Redmond(24), Di Holdsworth(32) and Andrew Bohn(7) all on 34. Andrew was NTP for the men and Meryl Connell was NTP for the ladies on the 18th. Rick Wills won the Club Award on CB from Mic Sheather.
Last Tuesday the club held a Xmas barbecue for all the course volounteers who give of their time to maintain and improve our golf course. Special thanks to Greg and Vicki Clements who organised the luncheon.

Forty two names are down for Yea in the next round of the Murrindindi Masters to be held at Yea on Saturday January 10th. This Wednesday sees another Mixed Stableford with the last chance for the men to catch Mic Spagnolo in the Yearly Eclectic.
