Strong Showing from Team Yea at Murrindindi Masters
Team Yea delivered an outstanding performance at today’s Murrindindi Masters event.
Leading the way was Jonathan Fisher, scoring 40 points to claim the Men’s Mini Master title. Matching that score was Sam Gregory, whose 40 points earned him victory in C Grade – an incredible achievement in his first-ever tournament.
Among the ladies, Di Elliott posted 34 points to win Ladies B Grade, while Vicki Clements also recorded 34 points to finish Runner-Up in A Grade. Penny Britton added to the club’s success with 32 points for Runner-Up in B Grade.
Additional highlights included Vicki Clements winning a Nearest the Pin, and Russell Wealands taking home the raffle prize.

Wednesday’s golf for the men saw 25 players contest a stableford event with the Dunne family with Travis(33) and father Chris(7) finishing on top with 37 points apiece.
Third was the ever improving John Renehan(51) with 36 points from Luke Gregory(11) 36 and Martin Lowe(17) fifth with 35. NTP on the 11th was Tony Rule and the Club Award was won by Rob Gill.
Ladies Stableford Results
A field of 13 players competed in the Ladies Stableford competition on Wednesday.
- Winner: Miranda Gill (19) – 39 points, an excellent round
- Runner-Up: Khai Mohammed-Noor (36) – 38 points
- Third: Carolyn Webber (45) – 35 points, continuing her surge in form
