Thirty four men and 7 ladies on the course on Saturday. Many thanks to all volunteers who had the course looking fabulous. In the final round of the Mens Championships all leading players were able to score big wins!
In A Grade Andrew Bohn(7) was the Club Champion winning by 9 strokes from second Rick Wills(10). B Grade Champion was Peter Johnston(16) winning by 8 shots from Neil Peterson(16). In C Grade Phil Armstrong(20) was run-away
Champion winning by 23 strokes from Malcolm Bett(26) second on CB from Michael Sheather(21).
Bob Glenister a past Club Champion and a person who does so much for Yea Golf Club presented Andrew, Peter and Phil with their trophies. We thank the House of Golf for their support with vouchers which the winners all received.
Daily winners were James Kidd(7) from Alexandra with nett 66 from second Phillip Armstrong nett 68 with Malcolm Bett third with nett 70.
The Clarke Trophy for best overall nett score was won by Phil Armstrong with 211 (won by 6 strokes) as well.
Michael Sheather was NTP on the 18th and Rob Gill won the Club Award on CB.A
In the ladies event on Saturday Vicky Butler(43) with nett 70 won from Cindy Armstrong(29) with nett 72. Di Elliott was NTP on the 18th.
