Saturday was a lovely spring day with our course looking good after being freshly mowed. Seventeen pairs in the mixed/mens foursomes saw Phil & Cindy Armstrong(24.5) take out the Mixed Championship with nett 68.5 from second Michael Sheather/Jo Clayton(22) very close with nett 69. Third were Greg & Vicki Clements(20.5) with nett 71.5. Scratch.winners were Mic Sheather/Jo Clayton with 91.

In the men’s competition the daily winners were Chris Dunne/Paul Kenney(17) with nett 65. The Mens Champions were Martin Lowe/Anthony La Grutta(18.5) with nett 66.5. Third were Rob O’Halloran/Jonathan Fisher(17.5) with nett 68.5. Scratch winners were Rick Wills/Tom White on CB from Anthony/Martin with 85. NTP on the 11th was Mic Sheather and on the 14th was Brian Simmons. The lucky $10 Club Award winners were Neil Peterson/Di Elliott.
The men’s competition on Wednesday was a stableford event with 17 players. Winner equaling his best score was Zachary Pell(15) with 38 points. Second was Russ Wealands(23) with 37 on CB from Tony Rule(17) third, with Luke Gregory(11) fourth on 34 points. Peter Johnston was NTP on the 11th and Steve Rumney took out the Club Award. The Doris Chambers Ladies Foursomes Stableford was won by Christine Simmons/Judi Newman with 36 points from second Vicki Clements/Jan Wealands with 33.
