Thirteen men hit off on a beautiful Yea Autumn morning in today’s Stableford event. New Member Ian Scott, afforded the luxury of a 36 handicap by absentee Captain Gary Pollard, recorded a fine 38 points to have the best score of the day … but is yet to submit his 3 cards necessary for his official handicap ….so, Phil Morrow (a guest from Broadford GC) was today’s official winner returning a fine 36 Pts. Peter Johnston with 35 was runner up. Michael Spagnolo has taken Bob Glenister’s mantel as regular winner of the NTP on the 2nd hole.
A great, fun day’s golf topped off with party pies and refreshments at the 19th!
In the Ladies event, Laraine Callander won the coveted Kath Homewood Trophy (a 36 hole stroke event) while Marj Gouldthorpe won the Monthly Medal and 1st round of the Silver Spoon with a fine 72 nett from Laraine (73 nett).
Adrianne won the putting with 27 putts.
